Wedding in July

Hi! I am new to the forum...hope you guys are out there. I am also newly engaged and planning a simple wedding in July. I have just quit my career and am going back to school for horticulture and very excited! SO...I want to grow my own flowers for my wedding. Dahlias, zinnias, daisies, baby's breath, and a few others and greens. I need advice. Am I being overzealous? I have grown flowers in the past in gardens with now problems, but never dahlias and zinnias. Will they be ready to cut by July 19? Thanks for any advice you can give. It will save me thousands.

There is a LOT of pressure in trying to grow your own flowers for such an important occasion. There is no telling what might happen. I would go for it, but I would definitely scout out a back up plan. Sam's Club has very reasonable flowers. If you are looking for table decorations, I would look at making small pots, that would be easy to do and easy to protect.
