This week's edition of the U. S. Drought Monitor Map is linked below. I decided to link the one for the whole USA this week instead of just the Oklahoma one since there is little change on the Oklahoma map and we do have lots of folks who post here from other states.

If you would like to see any state's map, click on that state and you'll get the regional map that includes the state you want to view. At that regional map, click on the state again, and it will pull up the state map.

This map incorporates all precipitation reports received by 7 a.m. Tuesday of each week.

It's been a while since we've seen any significant improvement for OK on this map. The longer the drought conditions go on, the worse the moisture deficit and the more rain that will be required for any meaningful change to occur on the map.

How widespread is the drought? Look at Hawaii and Alaska. Both of them have drought conditions in some areas.
