Hi,
A while ago, someone on this site (I'm sorry I don't remember who) talked about a $50 contest for the Modern Roots website. I just got an email (after my power finally came back on) that says I am a winner. I just want to know if this is really legitimate or did everyone get an email like this. Thanks!

Thanks Diane and Dawn for letting me know that it's legitimate and Diane you were probably the one that told me about it. Thanks!! Any ideas what would be the best way to use the $50? I was waiting for our tax return so I haven't really started getting seeds. Thanks again and God Bless,

| Seeds, Jiffy Mix, trays, dirt, ammendments, fertilizer, a new soaker hose, irrigation, a nice trellis....? Hmmm, what to do with a surprise 50 bucks LOL. I'm sure I could find a way to spend about 10 times that :-) Congratulations Connie. Way cool you won. Have fun with your moola. Mandy |

| Connie, Yes, I agree with Diane that Gourmet Seed has some fantastic varieties. Since whatever you buy will have shipping costs, I'd spend the gift certificate on small, lightweight items so shipping doesn't gobble up too much of the gift certificate. Tell us what you want to grow this spring and Diane and I can suggest varieties they offer that we know would do well here. Dawn |
