Was out and about this afternoon. Stopped by HD for a new rain-gauge (I want to measure WHATEVER falls!) and found bricks of coconut fiber (aka coir) by Burpee. $2.47!!! Each brick expands to 8 quarts. Made a new friend by the seed racks and she swears by this stuff. Said she never uses anything else. I've wanted to try it for years but it's been hard to find in a retail setting around here so I ordered one block from Territorial Seeds.

Now I think I'll have plenty. Just wanted to pass this along.
