| Several counties have either extended burn bans or added them if they were not previously in place. I believe 36 counties now have burn bans in place.
The current map is linked below and reflects all burn ban information submitted to the OFS. (Sometimes counties forget to notify the OFS, so if you think your county has a burn ban but don't see it on the map, check with your local officials if you need to know if you're allowed to burn or not.) Remember, too, that extremely dangerous fire danger exists for much of Oklahoma today, so even if your area doesn't have a burn ban, today is not a good day to burn brush or anything else. Dawn |

| I don't know how we aren't in the burn ban. It has been smokey here almost every day. My ds came in smelling like smoke last night. It was pretty strong to night too. |
