| I just got email from the City of Norman;
The City of Norman announces that it will be releasing compost on Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no charge for those citizens that load the compost themselves. Residents that request the City to load the compost, the cost is $10 per scoop, 3 cubic yards or approximately 2,000 pounds. The compost may be picked up at the City of Normans Compost Facility, located south of Highway 9 between Jenkins and Chautauqua at 398 Bratcher Miner Rd. Citizens with questions concerning the compost release may call the Compost Facility at 292-9725 or the Sanitation Division at 329-1023. Normal operating hours are Monday Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I wish I would have truck, but I have already informed my landscaper bring a load for beans and corn beds... Cheers -Chandra |
