Ran barrels (again)

I was sure I posted this last week but now I cannot find the post anywhere so apologies if this did already get posted and naughty computer if not!

I hope everyone is well! I have been reading the forum but forgot me sign in password (oops) so no posting until this week.

We are looking for something we can use as a rain barrel. Right now we have a hose attached to the downspout and it goes into a trashcan. It is not the best or most convenient system, LOL.

But when I went looking for a rain barrel at lowes they were $120! I am looking for some place to get a cheaper one. A food grade/animal food large barrel or drum would be ideal. But we do not know any ranchers of farmers. Maybe you can buy them used from a restaurant or something? I did look on craigslist and there were some for sale but they were pretty far away from Norman. There must be some place more local to get one? If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it! Also we don't have a truck just 2 small cars so I guess we need to measure and see what gallon size tub could fit in the car.

I hope everyone's spring (haha, delayed spring) is going well. Our is ok all in all but out tomatoes grown from seed so not look so hot (I did tell OH we need a grow light but he would not be convinced!!) and we accidentally cooked some pepper seedlings on a too hot heat mat. What newbies we are. But the rest look good! And our blackberries we ordered got planted yesterday.
