Anyone had shoots coming up for miscanthus? I can't remember the exact variety this one is, but it is supposed to get to 5-6' with those beautiful fluffy blooms.

All my other ornamental grasses were in ground and are coming back. This one was in a 5 gallon pot last year and through winter, and I thought it was dead (absolutely nothing green) so I went to dump it out and noticed the roots had grown all the way to the bottom and were circling already! This from a 1/2 gallon plant! So I thought I'd see about a second opinion before I chucked it!
