I am in NW OKC and have bamboo. If you mean you want the canes (like for garden stakes), I have a good portion that needs to be thinned. It's not quite as straightforward as cutting a patch back, since you have to select the dead culms (they are tan, while the live bamboo is green) and cut them out and pull them out of the grove. The green ones take months to cure enough to use in the garden. But thinning is radically easier than digging divisions!
