Life goes on.

Life will find a way.

Of course, just at the moment, that's all being trashed by a hailstorm.

But, for today, it was gorgeous.

...and sometimes, that has to be enough. That's all we can honestly ask for...today. Today is enough, because life will alway find a way.

Hail? Oh no. I watched new storms spinning up and just gave up and went to bed. I just couldn't look at the radars and warnings any longer. I can't sleep though, and then the weather radio alert went off when I was almost asleep.

Tomorrow will be a new day, and undoubtedly a hot and humid one too, and we will find something to smile about. Perhaps that something that brings a smile will be something from the garden. I just can't stop thinking about all the folks in Moore who don't have a garden, a flower bed or a home. So what puts a smile on their face tomorrow? Maybe just gratitude that they survived.

May is so often a cruel month here, and no one knows that better than Moore.

The damage from the hail wasn't as great as I had feared. Some of the plants got knocked about a good bit, but they look as if they'll surivive. We did have ping-pong sized hail out of it, and hailstones covered the ground about a dozen hailstones or more a square foot, here on the south side of town.

Lots of rain here this AM.

Thing are fine here, we did get some rain and wind last night. The wind was not that bad, but rained off and on all night, which was needed, and still raining.
