I may try to do something similar to your trellis, my pvc cages I made last year work fine but they turned out to be more expensive than expected and I have 30 more tomatoes plants this year. Yours look promising (and your garden looks great!) Do you trellis your peppers on those?

Alexis, yes, I trellis my peppers and anything else I can.

My trellises look sloppy but they work well. I have 4 cattle panels, many "T" post, many 1/2 rebar, many 1/2 EMT, and 7 loads of bamboo. The cattle panel look the best but I like the bamboo best because it is free. I suggest you find a friend that has bamboo and you will have an endless supply of trellis material

That trellis looks great! It appears to be solid, too. Simple and easy to maintain.

If our garden wasn't in the front yard and in town, I wouldn't have gotten so fancy with it. Out in the country, I'd be planting stuff everywhere and making it as simple to water and maintain as possible.

I love this Larry and must admit I am behind too. I will get caught up this weekend hopefully. I received some great bamboo at the fling and have been dreaming all week exactly how I want to use it.
I will show this pic to my son, he has a lot more room than me and maybe this will work for his tomato alley.
