An example of succession planting. Some might take exception to the examples in the pic, but it works fer me. I tend to overplant, anyway. If there's an empty spot in a row or a bed, I'll plant something in that spot. What that means is that I'm pretty much planting or harvesting for nine or ten months out of the year. The freezers always get filled and we save money on the grocery bill every month, all year long.

Beautiful. I have been gardening and taking pix all morning. The new growth gets me excited and looking forward to the harvest.
I had surprise potato plants last year from my compost. they turned out producing better than the on purpose plants.

Heh. After I plant seeds, any seeds, I'm out in the garden every day, several times a day, looking to see if they sprouted yet. I don't think anyone fully understands how it all happens. It's freaking magical, imo.

When I finally see the sprouts, "Oh, *there* you are! I've been looking for you!"

There's constant amazement and magic in a garden, and there's beauty everywhere you look.
