Oh Dawn, sorry to hear that. As we drove home yesterday, we followed a storm chaser vehicle and we were feeling the same way. He turned west about 20 miles before we got home.

It may be time to go visit your Texas relatives. Quickly tho!

The part I hate is gettin' hurt and layin' around helpless and in pain. So...these days, I generally avoid that kinda thing, when and where I can. iow, don't prepare for disaster because of fear. Do it because it's the rational and logical choice. Calmly, people. Calmly.

Take a deep breath...and be careful out there.

Storm chasers spotted in Norman, Paul's Valley, Duncan, LAwton and Marietta.

I am in Gainesville TX.

Thunder and lightning, here in Duncan. Appears to be passing north of town. Here on the south side of town, nothing but a bit of wind, so far.

Looks like the same path from the may 3rd tornado from years ago, in Moore.

But my tornado kit is still in the closet... and it is ssssooooo dark out... and the sirens already went off too.

I'm back from Texas. Once they issued a Tornado Watch for them too, I decided to head home. Well, seriously, I ran my errands, did my quick shopping and came home.
