Our lavender seeds germinated.

Direct sown in the bed by the front of the house. Two rows in a bed six feet wide and running the length of the house.

I hope it isn't too late in the year for them...and I hope they'll put up with the western exposure, later on. I do plan to keep them wet, at least, until they are well established.

I promised the wife that I'd put in a lavender bed, and seeds are much cheaper than buying them by the flat at the local nursery...
