Thanks, everyone. If I had known how vigorous that pale pink rose is I would have given it more room. The garden gate is just to the left out of sight and I am constantly cutting it back on that side. For years I tried to keep the two roses apart, but you can see that the pale one has moved all the way to the right of the other one. I know the dark one is Betty Prior because the friend who gave it to me told me. But my son-in-law's grandmother gave me the other and didn't know the name. I think it may be New Dawn, but not sure.

Sorie, daughter lived in Denver for a couple years and it was very different than Oklahoma. So, yes, you will have things to learn.

Helen, our flowers are a link to our departed loved ones, aren't they. Son-in-law's grandmother is now gone, but daughter and I both have a piece of this rose.
