This is what our skies looked like most of the afternoon, until about 8 PM or so.

My mom lives in Duncan by the HS and says every rainstorm misses them. Glad y'all finally got a little bit, and nothing worse.

Yeah, your mom's right, Mia. Seems as if we're in some sort of a 'sweet spot.' The worst stuff passes us by or goes right over our heads. Once in awhile, we might get a bit of rain out of it. Once in a great while, we get a lot of rain out of it.

otoh, after today's little shower, our front garden looks gorgeous.

on the third hand, I'm kinda concerned about others around the state and wonderin' and hopin' about how the survivors are gonna get through the night.

There's a new one coming through as I type this. From the radar, it looks like this cell might sideswipe us a bit. A bit of lightning and thunder, here, so far, on the south side of town.
