Figs and other ramblings

Just when I was dumping out my fig branches that were in cups for over 2 months I saw a root!
I could not believe my eyes. Then on another ( I have 8) I saw tiny leaves. That took forever. My FIL was sure I was never going to get a fig tree off of his. I guess they just wanted rain instead of chlorine water.
The rest of my garden is doing great also since the rain. I saved a lot of rain in buckets and put it into gallon jugs with lids and I use that to water. Onions have quit bolting since the rain too. I pulled most that had bolted and realized I planted way too close this year. I just wish the rest of the stuff I need to get in the ground would just get there, lol.
My garden is a maze of little plots and I am down to 10x20 to plant. everything else will have to go to the slaughterhouse property.

I still have 40 tomato plants in cups. Will they be fine to put out now? I was going to bury half of them since they are almost 2' tall.
