It is stifling. Not sure how it can be so darn humid with no rain for a while, but it is. Tomorrow will be the worst with a high of 101 . I will get up extra early to do my yard/gardening work and watering then im staying in under the AC. Not sure how, but there is always housework that needs to be done!

Emma- I think its always muggier/humid here due to being so close to the water, so I guess I don't notice it? But tomorrow will be brutal!

BTW- Guess what?! As soon as I replied the other day, my tomato stuck its tongue out at me, pulled a nana nana boo boo and started turning!! I am hoping by this weekend I will be eating that juicy tomato I have had my eye on since the middle of May!

Yah!!! Your first tomato before the 4th of July! It will turn very fast now, you just watch.

You know, I have never had a tomato before the 4th of July and its usually more like the middle of July so I was shocked to have already gotten 3 off one plant and another broke color this morning.

What's weird is that we had such a weird spring with late freezes in May, yet everything is blooming and making early for me. My crape myrtles bloomed early, so did my daylillies and Peonies. However my azaelas barely bloomed at all, although I believe that to be due to over pruning them last year. Its just been a really weird year!

I'm so glad your tomatos are turning! I'm off to go get some proper bloom booster and a spray bottle so that I can get these 2 heirloom beefsteaks to set some fruit, hopefully over the "cool front" that's set to be here on Sunday and for several days! I'm praying it happens and that the booster works. Because right now all my flowers are dropping from those 2 plants. And those are the ones I wanted fruit from the most.
