| I was going to harvest my onions today, but it rained last night (yay!). Would it be better to wait until they're drier or does it matter? I read something about wet soil meaning excess moisture in the onions that caused problems later on in storage. I'd like to get this bed planted with other things, but if I need to wait I can.

| Unless you had a huge amount of rain and also have slow-draining clay, it doesn't matter. I'd go ahead and harvest them if they're ready now. As long as you dry and cure them properly, they'll be fine. Hooray for the rain! Dawn |
