I was about ready to send you an email. But saw this post so will tell about the wheat crop/lack of here. The drought eliminated most of it. East of here where they received two late snows we didn't there is some. But around here I'm not sure anyone will cut a dryland acre. Then the freezes hurt the irrigated wheat which due to the weather conditions hasn't grown like normal. There are a lot of empty heads and lots of lodged heads. I've heard of areas withing 100 miles of here where they say that at least 80% of the irrigated wheat is lost. I've seen several circles that they have laid down to bale because of the freeze. There is some that will be cut. Like a few growers have told me you won't know till you run the combine over it. One grower said he felt this wheat that has went 70+ bushels the last several years will do good to average 45-50 an acre. They say we have a good chance of moisture tonight and tomorrow. I will have to see it to believe it. They have shortened our cooldown period. Be looking for an email. Jay

I just came on the site to post the same thing. I couldn't tell how much he got, but it looked like east of him a bit they got close to an inch.
