Now I'm jealous! No, seriously, I'm excited for the both of you. Have fun raising them. I bet they'll make it up here before the summer is over. Found a bunch of Spicebush Swallowtail babies to keep me busy. It's turning into a good lep year in Oklahoma. BTW, keep a lookout for the Genista Broom Moths. They killed a couple of my plants last year, and have already started in again this year.

shhh, Sandy, don't say that nasty phrase! I was eyeing (from afar) my baptisia that survived the last two years and it looked okay. I guess I'd better check it more closely.

I'm jealous of your spicebush cats! I'd love to have those.

Lisa, just putting out the word, so you can hand pick and destroy. My beautiful yellow Baptisia didn't even bloom this year. The destruction last year was horrible. And there was more than one onslaught. Hard to keep ahead of the GBMs.

Sandy, thank you, actually :) Thanks to your note, I did look closer last night and spotted some damage. I took after them with the Bt powder. My bush looks like it has been snowed on :) If you hadn't mentioned it, it would have been too late when I got back from vacation.

I have not had good bloom or any really in several years thanks to those caterpillars!
