Don't know if any of you have ever tried evolution salvia before but it is one of my favorite things. I think it is actually zone 8 but it has come back in my beds for the last 4 years or more. Takes the heat. Lady I work with didn't water hers in a pot last summer and it lived.

It was an AAS winner a few years ago (2006 I think) and the seed is available online. I don't think I've ever seen the seed on seed racks in stores though. It is salvia farinacea, and I've linked one of the websites that carries it. Park Seed has it as well, and I'm sure a lot of other companies do too.
