Tree - I'd set it outside like on the front porch but elivated to help keep it safe from peditors (some way!). Do you have any kind of food to put with it? Or should you just try to keep it in the cage for a few days and then set it free???

I've taken animals to wildcare before but now I live 80+ miles away and can't get it to the animal shelter before 4pm and probably not to noble before 7pm. That's what sucks. I've been donating to them for over 15 years great place.
Oh Paula my week started worse than that.
At 2am my cat brought a ripped apart rat in and got guts all over me and woke me up. She's the deadliest cat I've ever had. That's why I don't know if there's a place safe to put it outside heck I've seen her on the roof of the house.
my giant windmill got damaged and no longer stands I'm clueless.
Do baby robins eat bird seed? I can feed it if they do till I can make it to Noble.

Pet shops should have mealy worms that the robin will eat. Also, earthworms should also be good fare, as well as small grasshoppers. It probably should have small worms and insects and not bird seed. This should get it by until you can take it to a shelter. If you keep it very long be sure to give it a variety of type of worms and insects so it will have a balanced diet.
