Can you tell us a little bit about how the potato leaf issues have developed? There are quite a few diseases that affect plants in the solanum family (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers) that bear a great deal of resemblance to one another, making diagnosis from a photo difficult. Sometimes a description of how it developed and moved on the plants helps narrow down the possibilities.

Also, when we have as much rain as y'all have had there, you often see several issues pop up more or less all at once, and they all might not be diseases. One or more could by physiological in nature combined with insect damage and fungal, bacterial or viral disease. That is why it is helpful to understand how the problems developed.

The kind of info we need to know is how the spots and splotches developed and moved on the plants.

For example:

Did the leaves turn fairly yellow with small brown spots that enlarged to form larger brown spots?

Did the issue develop from the lower leaves and move upward? Or, from the upper leaves and move downward? Or, all at once everywhere?

How widespread is the sort of damage shown in your photo? On all the plants? Only some? Half the plants? Does every leaf on the plant have this?

Is there any similar damage on eggplant, tomato or pepper plants?

I think your plants have at least 2 or 3 things going on simultaneously, which isn't unusual since y'all have been really wet for a prolonged period of time. If you can describe how it developed and progressed, I think we can narrow it down and get a pretty good diagnosis.

I've never seen anything on my potatoes exactly like what we're looking at on yours, but I am in an area of the state that is a lot drier pretty much every year, so foliar diseases are not as widespread here as they are in your wetter and more humid part of the state.

Also, are your plants still putting out new leaves and, if so, do they look normal and green when they open up? Do they then stay normal and green or do they quickly develop the brown splotches?

Finally, how long ago did you plant the potatoes and how big are the plants right now?
