I use an old M580 Kodak digital camera, usually set on 'auto'. Sometimes, depending on the light, I turn the flash off. Then, it's just a matter of getting into the right spot and position to take the pic...at the right time of day.

'Framing the shot' is a matter of a few tricks learned in those art classes I took way back in high school. Balance, 'movement,' horizon, color and shadow...

Once I get the pic uploaded to the editor, I usually re-size it. If it's a particualrly good pic, I'll crop it a bit to make the balance and horizon and such work a bit better, as I've done with these.
