Your lawn looks much better than mine. We have been mowing shorter than we should have and it is burned badly and the ground is cracking. Our flowers look okay, but they have been mulched and watered. We never water the lawn.

You sure have some nice looking helpers.

I am glad the yard survived.

I've been watering mine once a week since the rain stopped falling, and the ground is still dry and cracked, but the bermuda grass had started turning brown already before I started watering the yard and now it is turning green again, so I guess that is progress.

Your grandchildren sure are growing fast, and are as cute and darling as ever.

Larry, I never water my lawn. It's more weeds than grass, which doesn't bother me, as I am digging it all up anyway. My flower area has doubled from what it was last year. It remains to be seen, if I cut the weeds/grass to short to survive... LOL

Dawn, Nathan broke (hairline fracture) a bone in his foot the day I drove out to help with driving the kids to swim lessons. Unfortunately Nathan had to keep his cast dry the WHOLE time I was there. It was removed yesterday. Xray shows it is healed fine. Funny enough, he really learned to ride his balance bike while he had the cast.

Moni, your yard looks more beautiful every time you post it!! I can't believe you let it go unwatered that long...and it survived! My garden is so wimpy, I water it 2x a week usually....which takes all week to accomplish :)

My neighbor has offered to do my watering while I am on vacation. I'm a little worried she won't be speaking to me when I get home. :)

Let me know if you have to be gone a long time...I could do some emergency watering!
