I mix fescue in with my bermuda, overseeding it every couple of years or so...especially near my flower beds. A fine bladed fescue is a much nicer grass, but it does better with a little shade and water. In my yard there are places that provide that. I have to water my flower beds a LOT. Fescue greens up a lot quicker in the spring.
My questions:
Does a little shade mean from trees shrubs or grass? I have no trees or shrubs. Only bermuda grass But I like the sound of mixing them together.
Does the bermuda choke out the Fescue?
Watering it would be no problem but shade is a different story. Thanks
