Possibly tall phlox??

More likely wild monarda, which is blooming now in those places in our area of the state.

Because we are in Extreme Drought, our wild monarda, which is alive and is blooming, has had very low moisture so it is about 3" tall. I've never seen it so short and am sort of amazed it is blooming at all.

I'm noticing it pretty lush over in Arkansas, where we've had pretty ample water this year. I noticed it a lot driving trying to find a cemetery Saturday.
Monarda fistulosa I believe is the one you're seeing.
