I found this caterpillar today and have tried, to no avail, to ID it. I can't seem to find one like it on any of the ID sites that I have looked at. Thought maybe someone here might be able to help :) Thanks in advance! I've got him in a habitat right now and it looks like he might be starting to build a chrysalis.

Is there a walnut tree around where you found it? What you found it on can help tell you what it is. The Nature Forum people might know.

It was just crawling across my driveway. I have an oak in my front yard and my neighbor has a sycamore. No walnuts in the area.
