| According to the website of the OFS, a Governor's Burn Ban is in effect for the entire state.
I haven't seen an official press release from OFS or the Governor's office yet or any sort of announcement in the media, but there the map is (linked below) all lit up in red. Earlier this morning it still showed the yellow county bans. This is great news because it is critically dry and we have Critical Fire Weather today and tomorrow. Some counties have not been able to meet all 4 requirments for county-issued bans, and this helps those counties tremendously. Dawn |
