Last year was my first year to grow it, Helen, and it was one of my favorite varieties.

Of course, last year we had our last frost the first week of March and I planted them really early, so they had lots more time than usual to set fruit before the heat shut down fruit set.

My plants produced big pink beefsteaks with superb flavor. They were supposed to be in the 1-lb. range, and roughly 4" across, but some of mine were near 2 lbs. and at least 6-7" across.

The plants were large, indeterminates that set and ripened heavy loads of fruit. They were great on sandwiches.

This year, the last frost was about 2 months later, and the plants produced less fruit and smaller fruit---more in the expected 1 lb.. and 4" range, but they still have been very tasty. They have the typical sweet yet complex flavor of pink beefsteak tomatoes, and the shape can be variable. Mine looked a lot like the photo on the Tomatofest website from which I purchased the seed. I'll link the photo below. It shows their lobed or pleated shape really well.
