I have been having this problem, too.

Look for the (free, but worth a donation) "extension" for your web browser called "AdBlock." It makes most ads invisible when on the web... an amazing improvement. Seems to work very well if you use Google Chrome (at least that's true on an Apple Mac).

You can opt out of the Vibrant in-text ads on Garden Web by clicking on the link below and following the instructions.

It used to be that when you opted out, the highlighted words didn't pop up in your posts at all, but I've noticed lately that it doesn't work 100% of the time any more, which makes me crazy. Still it works most of the time.

Neither of the links work for me. I downloaded adblock, but it seems to be causing problems on my tablet. Any other ideas?
