| This was the tiny baby snake I saw tonight by the swimming pool. I didn't get close enough to see if its anal plate was divided, but I'm pretty sure I have the right ID. :) |

| Mia, Since you had a guest visiting, I hope you offered it a nice beach towel and a cool drink. The poor thing probably was thirsty. We usually don't have snakes lying on the concrete here trying to absorb its heat until the nights start cooling off in September. I really have to watch the patio area in September and October in the evenings and early mornings because more often than not there's an uninvited visitor or two. I'm pretty sure you're 100% right on the ID too. Dawn |
