47 degrees when I got out this morning. A look at the mesonet showed this was pretty much the norm and some places got even a few degrees lower.

I'm so jealous! We have at least two or three more months before we see those temperatures. I love temps in the 40s.

53 here at 8 o'clock. It's still cool at 11--64. Hope it doesn't keep going down. I have tomatoes that need to ripen.

Wasn't quite that cool here, but my arthritic finger joints really hurt on the way to work today. I kept having to put my hands/fingers in my armpits, to warm them up. LOL Moni

It was 43 at the Burneyville Mesonet station so that's our official low temp for today, but our Min-Max thermometer on our front porch recorded a low of 47. We had an early morning fire and I was so cold at the fire scene that I had to put on a sweatshirt. We'll be back in the 90s again in a couple of days, but I still think the nights will continue to be a lot cooler than they have been in months. I think maybe the 100s are over and done. At least I hope they are!

We're enjoying the cool, but I wouldn't have minded having a few more of the 90 degree days. The neighborhood pool was just opened a few weeks ago. It's been a great way to get the kids to exercise without them knowing it.

50 here this morning. What happened to our transition temps?

Dorothy, I guess we aren't going to have transition temps this year. Nothing else has been normal this year, so why start now? Seriously, I don't know about the rest of y'all, but we're supposed to be back in the mid- to upper-90s next week. So, maybe our transition temps will come after that. All summer long, our high temps consistently over-achieved and went higher than forecast. This week, our lows have gone lower than forecast. I think the weather is behaving very badly and needs to get its act together and straighten up. Dawn
