You might notice there is some improvement, especially in states that received significant rainfall from Isaac.

Oklahoma looks about the same except that a small percentage of the state moved from D-3, Extreme Drought, to D-4,Exceptional Drought,which isn't exactly the sort of change we were hoping for. I think Kansas looks a little worse in Jay's corner of the state, where D-4 gobbled up the little bit of D-3 that was still there. Arkansas shows some improvement.

I hope this drought is not going to hang around all autumn long, but I am starting to think it might.
