The one thing that actually produced in my garden this year is this sweet little melon. I'm attaching a picture (with a quarter alongside for size reference), and then will comment with a picture of it open.
It tastes sweet, somewhere in between a canteloupe and a honeydew, and each melon is just right for eating all at once - a true "hand" melon!
The vines are fairly contained - they didn't spread beyond around 8 ft. or so, so it fit nicely in my little garden. Seed came from Baker Creek.
