I use Bermuda grass clippings on the compost. I even dump the clippings directly on the garden. I had much rather have them composted, buy I feel at times that I don't have the time to compost.

I've done it, too. Just make certain the pile is fully composted before you use it.

I put them in the compost sometimes. If unable to keep the compost hot and it tries to grow, my next round of heavy kitchen waste burns them right up.

since I work really hard getting bermuda out of my yard, I don't put any in my compost.

Not taking any chances.

I've used it as mulch but never as compost. The only suggestions I would have is not use it if the grass has been sprayed. Make sure it has been cut at least once after any spraying. If adding it too a compost pile and you turned it I would think that would work. When using as a mulch you just add a few inches at a time and let each layer dry well and you won't have much if any problems. I piled it a few times and if left even for a couple of days the heat inside the piles would be pretty warm. So can't imagine anything staying alive inside if the heat builds up. Just my opinion. I normally mulch my grass, but I use my grass clippings any time I need to bulk up my compost pile. I have never had any trouble with bermuda growing/sprouting in my compost pile....trying to creep in...a whole different story ;) (caveat...if the grass is going to seed, I wouldn't use it).

Grass can seriously up the heat in your compost pile. If you have any need for HOT compost, throw a mowing's worth of grass on it.

I've been composting bermuda grass clippings for years, with NO problems. I hot compost though, and the exception being is when it's got seed heads. Then, I toss it all in the trash.
