Thanks George! I guess the people on the forum are too shrewd to waste time and money on gimmicks. That is a good enough answer for me --- I'll try to figure something else out.

I don't have any experience with them. I have a huge mole problem, but have given up doing anything about it.

People I know who have tried them right here in Love County have not felt like they were helpful, Flis, but I haven't tried them myself.

The box-shaped gopher trap that Scott has mentioned in the past has worked for some people here with gophers, but not so much with moles or voles. I don't have gophers or moles, but have lots of voles. They live in the wooded areas of our acreage but come into our landscape and gardens at night to eat, and I don't have a good solution for dealing with them either. Bobcats and coyotes help control moles, voles and gophers, but I can tell you that we don't have many coyotes around this year. The way I can tell is that we have tons and tons of cottontail rabbits. The only time our cottontail population gets as high as it is now is when the coyote population is low.
