Poly, check with some of the local feed and seed stores. I bought broccoli and cabbage today at a farmers co-op. They had other plants also, but not near like they would have in the spring.

Depending upon what you like, strike up a conversation with the workers or manager of the garden center the next time you are there. They can tell you when certain items will come in or that there is no control.

Right now in Tulsa there are masses of chrysanthemums, and other "left over" plants. In Tulsa I can find out what may or may not be coming, but nobody knows when the trucks will arrive. It could be any day or any time.

Last week Lowes had a small sampling of Bonnie's fall vegetable transplants - herbs, strawberries, collards, leeks, broccoli, about 4 different types of lettuces, brussel sprouts, kale, tomatoes, and tons of chrysanthemums.

Are you coming into the city? Stop by TLC on Memorial. I just wander thru there sometimes for fun. I really miss Horn's. My feed and seed store quit carrying plants too, :(

Lowes in Owasso has brussells sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, collards, romaine lettuce and a couple of herbs.
