The butterfly bush grew about two feet after we planted it. It started to bloom just about a month ago, now. The bush is very well named. They attract lots and lots of butterflies - and bees.

Some of the alliums bloomed this year. The bulbs were so small, when I planted them I only hoped we'd se a few blooms this year. By this time next year, there should be hundreds of them, all around the garden.

Christophii, I think. Not sure.

Warren, I think that red plant actually is Lycoris radiata, aka Spider Lily (related to the much larger Lycoris squamigera which bloomed in midJuly) especially if it is blooming now. I haven't seen mine yet, but it has been very dry for a month. Someone on here may know a link to a picture with a definite identification.
Love the butterfly bush. I had one at one time, but it froze out one winter.

These are beautiful! Thanks for the ID on the red flower. It came up in my yard a few years ago. It was top-heavy and hung upside down. At the time my 4 yo son was terrified of it. He thought it was a spider. LOL
