Castor bean plants!

Recently, when I was battling the gopher, I put castor bean seeds, newly harvested, down in the runs. These were at least 6 inches deep or more. Now, I have plants that have sprouted! Not all of them though. Hoping the gopher, who hasn't made an appearance in a while, collected some of the fresh seeds as well.
