| There's really no reason to post this map any more since rain has put a halt to our drought conditions here in Oklahoma. However, I thought I'd post it one last time for 2009 just so we can enjoy looking at it in its present state.....since we hardly ever get to see a drought map for Oklahoma showing 0% drought in the state.
I think it might be several months before we even have to think about this map again after today!
However, do keep in mind that all the lush green growth from this year's rain still will contribute to high fire danger levels once it is dormant and dry after each area has had a hard freeze or two or three.
