hosta's for 95 cents

Yep, that is what I found at the Lowes near me (Edmond, 2nd and Bryant). I picked a pretty one up. But, at the cash register they wanted $3. +. I did get it for the 95 cents, but I had to tell the cashier.

Anyway, I thought, others looking for hostas might want to look.

Wow, that's a better deal than I got at the one on Memorial, they were about 1/2 price.

I did pick up a couple :)

What hostas do you ladies grow? I used to have more, but kinda let them go by the wayside while focusing on my butterfly gardening efforts. Now I only have Night Before Xmas, Guacamole, Titanic, Blue Angel, and Sum & Substance. The latter 3 get humongous!

One that I lost I'd really like to try again is 'Remember Me', so named in recognition of a breast cancer victim, and a portion of the sales proceeds going to breast cancer research. It was a fairly small hosta, but the foliage, predominantly white with green edge, was gorgeous and startling in a shady garden.

I just grow some I like the foliage of. No idea about the name. This one was nameless too. :)

I don't keep up with my names either :) I buy some at Lowes and a few mail order. I think my last order was "no names" :)

I haven't always been very successful with hostas, but I found one spot they seem to do ok in. I'm trying out another spot too.

I love the blue ones, the textured ones and then the green and white. I've ordered several of the large ones, but I'm not sure they survived.

Plants people call easy don't always survive at my house...
