Time for Pansies

Peggy has been checking prices for pansies lately and found these at Pams at the Farmers Market in OKC. Reno and Klien just west of Western. $9.00 per 18/Flat. Pam told Peg she has 40 different colors this year including a black. Ornamental Kale and Mums too.

Here it is November and I guess it is time to plant pansies, isn't it?

I'm behind as always.

I can plant pansies only in hanging baskets or in containers on the porch because anything in the ground or even in containers on the patio will be eaten be deer, rabbits, etc. and it sure has cut back on how many pansies I plant.

Today is a 'project' day because we're working on converting our screened-in porch to a windowed/walled sunporch. Maybe I'll get lucky and we'll run out of something and have to make a 'supply' run to Lowe's or Home Depot and then I'll get to look at and maybe buy some pansies there.
