A touch of color...

to keep my spirits up. This geranium has been blooming since I brought it home from my daughter's house two months ago. That's a west-facing window behind the shade.

How lovely! I hope it blooms all winter. It is nice to have something in bloom indoors when the weather is so dreary outside.

Pretty. I have a red one that is blooming too. It's bloomed more since I brought it indoors than it did all summer! It's in a north window.

I love the smell of their foliage. I know they like it dry so I'll bet the low humidity in the house in winter doesn't bother them. I thought they wanted more sun so it is good to know they do well without it.

My big dog's tail has done some damage to house plants in my hall. He doesn't usually get to come in but I'll let him in tonight again.
