Found in Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, warm to cool growing. I grow it cool. Interesting blooming habit, has several flowers which rigidly bloom one at a time. The flowers last 3 to 4 weeks and the next one opens after the previous one has wilted. I have never seen more than one open at the same time. The protuberance below the lip is the next flower bud.
