This Paph. almost died, and then when It finally budded, it took almost an eternity to bloom. My favourite Paph. so far. Photos taken early December.

So very pretty! I have one in bud; I call it my 'Forever Bud'. How long does this beauty take to completely unfurl? So afraid this klutz going to knock it over or otherwise break the spike.

Wish I had tracked the time it took to bloom, but I think it was at least a month...the bud was semi-furled for about 2 weeks during that time. Then I decided to moved it into a slightly higher light...it then quickly bloomed. Yay!
