| hi all,i bought a dend.jenkinsii last year at an orchid show.it is in a 2" clay pot with orchid mix and perlite.it has lost all its leaves except one,that one is nice and green.it is under a 60w.grow lite,50% humidity and water when the mix feels dry.are there any ideas on what i should do to get it putting out more leaves,do i need to take out of its pot,etc?thank you for any ideas you can give me. |

| I had this plant quite a few years ago and it was mounted on cork. This Dendrobium needs a dry, cool, winter rest (I think I withheld water for about 1-2 months). It also needs bright light to flower well. Your's probably isn't growing now because this should be its rest period. I would leave it in the pot until you start to see new growth/roots developing this spring and then mount it to cork. BN |

| They usually bloom in the spring after the winter rest. I would start to water mine when the buds would be half grown. BN |

Special Notes for Uploading Images:

- File uploads work with Netscape version 2.0 and above,
and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, but they do not work with many of the browsers that claim to be compatible with Netscape, including earlier versions of Internet Explorer.
