Pictures of repotting and setting up new garden spaces

Last Saturday, I embarked on a long overdue project to repot my orchids and create a new area in my garden from the kiekis. It was an all day project requring help from 3 others to get it all done. Here are step by step shots of the various segments of the project. Had a real sense of accomplishment when we were finally done.

WOW!!!!! My mouth is hanging open and I'm consumed with envy. This garden must be in the Carribean or Mexico from the look of the home. Great growing and tending! Vee

Wish we had some like this in the U.S.
My dendrobiums that are as tall as I am sure could use them.

Please tell us what your growing medium is...looks like charcoal chunks, or black lava-type rock????
How often do you water? (Your blog says it is the dry season and windy)
Thanks!
