Ir works!

It works & it's gorgeous! Is it a schilleriana? Is it fragrant? I had one years ago and now once again have a plant that is in bud. I'm so hoping it will be fragrant.

hi sheila unfortunatelly this phals is death when i have been in hospital for 4 months two years ago i lost almost all my collection of orchids.
This is an old pix of last blooming she has done.
Now I have another schilleriana that survived the four months of drought but she's still recovering has just two leaves and will not bloom for me this year.
They had both a light fresh fragrance of rose.
I hope yours will be fragrant too!
This is one of my favorite phal species also because her mottled leaves are very interesting even when she's out of bloom.

Schilleriana seems to be the only species phal I can grow. Just this a.m. I attended a phal lecture with a wonderful grower as speaker. Afterward I asked him for suggestions on growing species. I will be shopping later in Spring and will once again try a couple more of the phal species.

I love orchids with fragrance! Fragrance is an absolute must! for me!
